The Horizon Clock

The Horizon Clock is Rosie’s masterpiece project from her degree which won the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers prize. This led to the clock being displayed in the new Clockmakers Museum, newly installed at the Science Museum for 1 1/2 years.

The clock then won the F. P. Journe Young Talent competition and was shown at Basel World, the largest watch fair in the world, alongside the AHCI with some of the most wonderful independent clock and watchmakers and some personal heroes.

After this great success, Rosie was nominated, alongside her University colleage, James Harris and tutor, Jeremy Hobbins, as one of the top 100 trailblazers of 2016.

Working at the Clock Clinic for four years enabled Rosie to hone her skills practically in a commercial setting. Working in a shop meant that Rosie was able to become familiar with the contextual and business side of horology as well as having the opportunity to work on a multitude of different clocks.

Present day

Rosie is now fixing clocks in her workshop in Brighton. She is also working with turret clocks for the Cumbria Clock Company.

Rosie is a fellow of the British Horological Institute and a member of the British Watch and Clockmakers Guild.
